Here in Lagrange, GA, there is a piece of sprawing land owned by a man named Mack Waugh. On this land are many, many vehicles. People will drive by and stop to look, in awe of what they see. Most of the vehicles are in terrible shape but there is a heap that are still worthy projects.  The city has been after Mack for a while, they call it an eyesore, even though Mack lives out in the beginning of rural country.  Mack wants to keep the land and sell the cars.  He’s going to try to sell them in one lot 1st.  If that doesn’t work he is going to reopen the yard and the cars one car at a time and sell the loose parts.  When the cars and parts are gone the yard is closed.  I don’t believe anyone is going to buy the whole yard because they’d have to haul it off the land.  I’m sure he’ll be forced to sell individually.  There will be many opportunities then depending on what he wants for each car.  The following link is an album at Flickr of Mack’s cars that another person took. Enjoy and dream away!

Yea he’s opened it up if you want to buy a rat rod project. He gives tours for 20 bucks. He even has some posted with for sale signs on them. No my photo is not much more than a year old and yea a few cars are gone now but most are still there.

I know it’s been over a year, I have been on Facebook. I talked to Mack just last week. All cars are still there except for five. Gees, everyone begged and begged the man to sell and now when he does a recession beat it down. Well, we’re coming back up, so go and BUY! Mack said since it’s registered as a business and he can’t undo it he is taxed for every car on that land! I’ve been watching resto car shows…Mack is not asking too much for these cars. If I had 5500.00 I know exactly what I’d buy from him.
